Chimera, nicknamed "Chi" (pronounced "KAI"), is the result of child experimentation to build artificial powers. Whereas Project VOID focused on the spiritual aspects of ability development, Project CHIMERA looked into connections with the flesh. Children would be forced to eat [REDACTED] and upon [REDACTED] would reenter the cycle as [REDACTED]. Project Chimera was considered to be easier to mass manufacture, although it produced a high volume of waste. There are around a dozen successes, with Chi being the most human-like of the bunch.

Chi is an amalgamation of several souls, but the primary base was Alice. Alice tends to have the most control over the body. Despite their appearance, Chi is rather shy, but extremely protective of xyr friends, especially their partner Beowulf. They can permanently gain any abillity of another individual by eating them. However, each new soul remnant leads to more dysfunction between the parts of the body.

Chimera is an allegory for my experiences with gender identity, as well as aspects of my plurality. A lot of times I feel more like an almagamation of parts than a person.

Relationships

Beowulf and Alice are childhood friends who were separated at a young age. By the time they found eachother again, Alice was Chimera. Despite this, the two reconnected and remained close. Xe is also friends with Daniel and feels a kinship with him. They have mixed feelings on Wyn, as it respects him for being Daniel's friend while they were gone but hate the way he treated Daniel.
